Talbot/Fouracre in Aus GT Endurance Raid

Blancpain GT racer Liam Talbot and rising star Jake Fouracre will join forces to contest the Australian Endurance Championship.
The pair will pilot an ex-Rod Salmon Audi R8 GT3 run by Audi Customer Racing Australia in the four round endurance series alongside selected Australian GT sprint rounds.
A visit to Phillip Island for the opening round of the Australian Endurance Championship from May 27-29 will kick off the campaign.
Talbot has been steadily increasing his GT experience having competed in the amateur ranks of the hotly contested Blancpain Endurance Series last season which has continued this year.
Phillip Island will be the Queenslander’s first Australian GT race since 2014 when he raced alongside Salmon in an Audi R8 GT3.
Fouracre’s graduation to Australian GT arrives having enjoyed success in GT machinery at the Phillip Island Magic event last year.
The 25-year-old from Melbourne has previously raced in state level Formula Ford and Australian Formula 3 before making the leap to GT racing.
“I am certainly very excited and even a little nervous, but more excited about making the debut,” said Fouracre.
“There is no doubt Australian GT is a step up in class and the car is a weapon but I am fully ready, mentally and physically. The Audi is simply awesome to drive – everything just works.”
