Liam Talbot Flies the Flag for Australia at Nurburgring 24HR
It’s the ultimate dream…racing for Aston Martin Test Centre at the legendary Nurburgring 24 Hour race. And that’s exactly what Liam has just sunk his shiny white teeth into.
Today he proudly walked the manic grid as almost 300,000 spectators looked on, alongside his Aston Martin team mates Marcus, Peter and Egon. Liam was flying the flag for Australia and to inspire others to follow their dreams. His hard work, dedication and determination over the past 2 years has all paid off and made this moment even sweeter.
The N24HR grid walk was like nothing we’ve ever experienced before. The home straight was like a massive ocean of hungry motorsport-mad fans flooding past the beautiful pieces of roaring machinery that are the race cars. It’s hard to put it into words so look out for our grid video being posted soon.
The grid girls over here stand out more that any we’ve ever seen…simply because they all stood at least 2 feet taller than anyone else on the grid, towering over the nimble drivers. Watching the drivers getting pictures with the gorgeous Giant GGs was a sight we couldn’t help but laugh at.
The pit garages have turned into a beehive of constant activity, readying for the big race.
All the highlights from day 1 coming up soon…
